About Us.

The Seacoast Women's Giving Circle was founded in April 2006 by a group of women eager to use their skills and resources to address critical issues facing the Seacoast community. Members contribute annually to a pooled fund and participate in volunteer service projects in the community. Over the course of the year, members educate themselves about community issues, identify a specific social cause on which to focus, and select one non-profit organization to receive the Giving Circle's annual gift.

Through our annual gift, we support non-profit organizations that provide services in or to the residents of some or all of the following Seacoast towns of NH and Maine: Seabrook, Hampton, Hampton Falls, North Hampton, Rye, Portsmouth, New Castle, and Kittery.

The Seacoast Women's Giving Circle is not a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Rather, it is a volunteer group that galvanizes financial and volunteer support for specific organizations and issues in the community. Donations from members and friends are made directly to the non-profit organization we select each year.

If you would like to support our work in the community, please donate funds or volunteer your services directly to our annual non-profit gift recipients:

In addition, the Giving Circle has a Backer Member category that provides an opportunity for women to be more involved in our group's work. For more information, visit the Membership section.
